Our standard residential driveway pour is 4 inches of 4,000 PSI concrete reinforced with fiber mesh, with 6-inch thickened edges at the apron and garage entry where loads concentrate. For homes with RVs, boats, or heavy equipment, we upgrade to 6 inches with welded wire reinforcement and increase the concrete strength to 4,500 PSI. Finish options include standard broom finish for maximum traction, exposed aggregate for a decorative natural stone appearance, stamped concrete in patterns like ashlar slate, cobblestone, or brick, and colored concrete using integral pigments or surface-applied stains. We install proper control joints every 8-10 feet to control cracking, and every driveway includes a 30-day cure period before heavy vehicle use.
